IZZY
DIRECTOR
Izzy has been in the industry for over 20 years, she is a local girl and has mostly worked in Alton as well as on Cruise ships before opening The Cutting Room in 2004.
Izzy enjoys creating natural wearable styles and is good with fine hair.
She is passionate about making The Cutting Room a happy and welcoming place for guests and colleagues alike.
SAMMY
DIRECTOR
Sammy has been in the industry for over 10 years and has been with The Cutting Room since 2014. She has an amazing talent for putting people at ease and will always listen to her clients needs.
Sammy is great at making hair look glamorous and is exceptionally talented at balayage and beautiful bouncy blowdrys.
Sammy is qualified to level 3, is an assessor and is solely responsible for the apprentices training program.
Louise
DIRECTOR
Louise joined us in 2023 with over 20 years salon experience and has worked locally for most of those years.
Louise Is fantastic at cutting and loves a restyle and the chance to be creative.
She’s also really good fun!
ROBYN
COLOUR EXPERT
Robyn joined The Cutting Room in 2019 with 10 years experience. She specialises in all things colour, especially balayage, styling and barbering. She has been an in salon educator in London and has been presented on the fellowship of British hairdressing stage at London Excel.
She also made it to the final audition of the fellowship clubstar art team in a national competition.
ALICE R
COLOUR EXPERT
Alice R has been hairdressing since 2014 and has worked with Aveda throughout her career . She is talented in all areas of hairdressing but especially balayage and colouring. Alice is now a certified Aveda colour master after being one of only a few stylists in the country to complete the advanced course in 2021.
She also loves creating big bouncy blowdries
ELLIE
ADVANCED STYLIST
Ellie did her apprenticeship at The Cutting Room gaining her qualification in 2018 and has completed her level 3. She is now concentrating on her own busy client column and is an amazing hairdresser.
She is great with balayage and especially enjoys colour, the brighter the better! Ellie is also our Kerastraight specialist.
Georgia
ADVANCED STYLIST
Georgia joined The Cutting a room in 2022 with over 10 years of salon experience.
She has always had a passion for hair and creativity and started her hairdressing journey at the age of 15!
Georgia loves advanced bold colouring and creative cutting.
SHELBY
SENIOR STYLIST
Shelby did her apprenticeship at The Cutting Room gaining her level 2 qualification in 2019. She then went on to achieve her advanced level 3 qualification and was awarded apprentice of the year from BCOT in 2020.
Shelby has always been a natural to hairdressing, she especially enjoys cutting and has a great eye for detail.
MEGAN
GRADUATE STYLIST
Megan completed her apprenticeship at The Cutting Room in 2022 after starting her career with is at the age of 14 as a Saturday girl.
Megan has a natural talent for hairdressing and loves colour work, particularly balayage and styling.
EMILY
GRADUATE STYLIST
Emily qualified in 2022 after completing her apprenticeship at The Cutting Room.
Emily has a gentle approach likes to take the time to understand her clients wishes. She enjoys colour work, especially foiling.
FREYA
ASSISTANT
Freya worked at the Cutting Room a few years ago as a Saturday girl and has returned as an assistant in her gap year while she plans her travelling adventures!
Freya is a natural people person and gives a great head massage!
ANNETTE
SALON ASSISTANT/FRONT OF HOUSE
Annette has been with The Cutting Room since 2016.
She is committed to making our guests feel welcome and looked after whilst they are with us and always has a cheery disposition that brightens up the salon.
